One of the legacies that has been left in India is its love of bureaucracy. It used to be so easy to head to the Indian Visa office in Victoria, queue up with your meticulously filled out paper and get your visa there and then. Now you endure a perplexing series of computer errors as you navigate the online system, hence me getting a five year visa for ease of when I want to return. And I will always want to return and can stay up to 182 days - how tempting!!!
